Reparation/Reserve:
Unfortunately, it is not possible to repair a damaged prosthesis.
Should the artificial eye break, please keep all the broken pieces you can
so they can be used as a model for a new prosthesis. Do not stick the broken pieces together yourself.
If you have an old non-damaged artificial eye, wear it in the meantime and bring it with you to the appointment.
Adjustment:
For an optimum adjustment of the eye prosthesis you need to be present. If due to extraordinary circumstances the patient can not be present, the artificial eye can also exceptionally be made using a suitable model or the broken pieces (should they be sufficient).

Wearing tips:
In principle, the artificial eye can be worn day and night.
If you rub or wipe your eye, do it only towards the nose.
If you wipe your eye in the opposite direction - specially your upper lid - you could push the prosthesis out or turn it over.
